Overview

Wooten Properties is expanding its accounting team and is seeking someone who wants to build their skills and grow within the department. This role suits a dependable, upbeat person with a strong work ethic, solid communication ability, and comfortable computer use. Prior accounting experience is helpful, but it is not mandatory. A consistently positive attitude is required.

Responsibilities

Handle the complete accounting process across several property types.
Support accounting firms, banks, and other financial partners in preparing and closing out monthly financial documents.
Communicate daily with vendors, residents, and managers.
Work from a professional corporate office in an interactive team environment.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A positive, energetic attitude and willingness to learn.
Interest in developing new skills.
Comfort using computers, bookkeeping fundamentals, and spreadsheets.
Ability to complete tasks independently.
Skill in balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Reliable and dependable work style.
Familiarity with property management software is preferred but not essential.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position. Compensation is $17.50 per hour. The schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some overtime as needed.
