Overview
Wooten Properties is expanding its accounting team and is seeking someone who wants to build their skills and grow within the department. This role suits a dependable, upbeat person with a strong work ethic, solid communication ability, and comfortable computer use. Prior accounting experience is helpful, but it is not mandatory. A consistently positive attitude is required.
Applicants should be prepared to include both references and salary expectations with their application.
Responsibilities
- Handle the complete accounting process across several property types.
- Support accounting firms, banks, and other financial partners in preparing and closing out monthly financial documents.
- Communicate daily with vendors, residents, and managers.
- Work from a professional corporate office in an interactive team environment.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, energetic attitude and willingness to learn.
- Interest in developing new skills.
- Comfort using computers, bookkeeping fundamentals, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to complete tasks independently.
- Skill in balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Reliable and dependable work style.
- Familiarity with property management software is preferred but not essential.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position. Compensation is $17.50 per hour. The schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some overtime as needed.
