Set up forms designed to contain concrete during pouring.
Clean and examine surfaces to identify any issues before pouring concrete.
Coordinate with the concrete truck driver during the casting process.
Pour, level, and smooth concrete using tools such as rakes, trowels, floats, and screeds, both manually and with power tools.
Keep track of weather conditions and their effects on the concrete curing process.
Apply sealants and hardening agents to concrete surfaces.
Operate power vibrators safely to compact the concrete properly.
Create and shape expansion joints using joiners and edging instruments.
Polish concrete surfaces employing power surfacing machines.
Finish extensive concrete areas including pads, sidewalks, and wall rubbing.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may change over time without prior notice.

Skilled in pouring, leveling, and smoothing concrete over various surfaces such as roads, sidewalks, curbs, and floors.
Ability to set concrete forms, repair existing surfaces, cut expansion joints, and monitor concrete curing to ensure quality finish.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.
Possession of a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and REAL ID-compliant identification is required.
Physical fitness to meet job demands.
Willingness to work as part of a union.

Preferably trained or certified in operating aerial/scissor lifts with the necessary certifications.
