Role overview
SAY Carbon Yachts is hiring a part-time team member to support composite and structural work on yacht components in Wangen im Allgäu, Baden-Württemberg. The role focuses on hands-on production tasks with carbon fiber and related materials.
What you will do
- Turn carbon fiber into durable, high-strength parts.
- Help produce a range of large and small yacht components together with the team.
- Carry out sanding, bonding, and laminating work based on construction specifications.
- Assist with mold construction, hull and deck lay-up, and processes such as vacuum infusion.
Work schedule
This position is planned for 4 hours per week.
What the employer is looking for
- Ideally, you have completed vocational training as a boat builder and already gained practical experience.
- As an alternative, a skilled craft background is also suitable, especially if you have experience as a model maker.
- Applicants who are new to the field but talented and motivated are also welcome.
- You should have a strong technical and logical understanding.
- You need to be comfortable working with hand tools.
- Good German language skills are required.
