About the Role
This permanent, full-time position based in Albany involves a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday. You will play a key role in resolving regulatory issues across Auckland to foster safe and thriving communities. Your work will engage with legislation such as the Resource Management Act, Building Act, and Auckland Council bylaws.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate service requests and determine necessary responses.
- Conduct site visits to collect evidence and carry out investigations.
- Offer guidance to customers about their regulatory duties.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to handle complex cases.
- Prepare and advance enforcement procedures as needed.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have experience in compliance or regulatory investigations, with the capacity to interpret legislation and apply regulatory frameworks effectively. Desired qualifications include tertiary education or equivalent experience in relevant areas like compliance, risk management, resource management, building, law, or science.
