Job Overview
The Commis Chef role involves maintaining strict health and safety standards alongside personal hygiene. The primary responsibility is to prepare innovative and high-quality dishes that surpass guest expectations. Effective communication within the kitchen team is essential, including the ability to accept constructive feedback and accurately execute orders. Handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a calm manner, especially during busy periods, is critical.
As a key team member, the Commis Chef supports food preparation and organization duties, contributing to kitchen efficiency and enhancing guest satisfaction by ensuring excellence in assigned responsibilities and assisting colleagues.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completed high school education.
- Past experience in food & beverage or restaurant operations.
- A genuine enthusiasm for teamwork.
- Strong guest service capabilities.
- Basic understanding of food preparation, presentation, and preservation techniques.
- Fundamental knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols.
