We are seeking Catering Assistants to join the vibrant hospital kitchen team, delivering quality food and refreshments to patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support meal preparation and distribution for patients, staff, and guests
• Uphold stringent standards of hygiene and food safety throughout kitchen operations
• Serve hot and cold meals, snacks, and beverages to hospital personnel and visitors
• Ensure all catering areas remain tidy and inviting
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous catering or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong enthusiasm for food and customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication and ability to work well within a team
• Capability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• This position does not qualify for Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visas; NHS Highland cannot offer a Certificate of Sponsorship.
• From 1st April 2026, the full-time weekly working hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (part-time hours adjusted proportionally), with increased hourly pay to maintain overall compensation.
