About the Role
We are seeking experts in biology to assist in assessing and enhancing artificial intelligence systems trained with sophisticated scientific material. Your expertise will influence how AI interprets, analyzes, and presents intricate biological information, impacting innovative tools used in scientific research and applications.
Role Details
- Organization: Alignerr
- Position Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Fully Remote
- Workload: Between 10 and 40 hours weekly
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced biology questions ranging from undergraduate to Master’s level that challenge AI capabilities
- Create detailed, logical stepwise solutions demonstrating expert problem-solving
- Assess AI-generated biological responses for scientific validity, logical rigor, and overall quality
- Spot and report inaccuracies, gaps, or reasoning flaws in AI responses across varied biology subjects
- Collaborate with research teams to refine and advance benchmarks that support next-generation AI models
- Operate independently with flexible scheduling
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines
- Exhibits strong analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills in biology
- Capable of explaining complex biological concepts clearly and accurately in written formats
- Attentive to detail and methodical when assessing quality
- Self-driven and able to manage work autonomously
- No prior experience with AI or data annotation expected
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data annotation or quality assessment processes is a plus
- Knowledge in molecular biology, genetics, physiology, or other biology specializations
- Background in academic research or scientific writing is advantageous
