About the Role
The Associate Lead - Procurement (Civil) is tasked with shaping and executing company-aligned procurement strategies, specifically within the civil domain. This role demands expertise in contract sourcing and negotiation, uncovering avenues for cost optimization, and proactively ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procurement guidelines.
Core Responsibilities
- Create, refine, and drive procurement strategies in close alignment with overall business goals.
- Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives to optimize procurement spending.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as commercial, technical, and project management to ensure procurement processes are well-integrated and efficient.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers. Conduct routine performance assessments and promptly address any supplier-related issues.
- Oversee adherence to company procurement policies and regulatory standards, ensuring every procurement activity is compliant and auditable.
- Deliver regular insights and strategic recommendations about best practices and procurement trends to senior management.
- Monitor industry and market developments to adjust procurement approaches proactively.
- Prepare detailed reports on procurement metrics, including spend, savings, and supplier performance, for senior leadership review.
- Advocate and foster a digitally driven approach, keeping abreast of advancements in technology and AI to augment procurement processes.
Key Interactions
- Internal: Collaborates with techno-commercial teams, headquarters functions, cross-functional teams, and project managers.
- External: Coordinates with OEMs, suppliers of materials, and service partners.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master's qualification is an advantage.

- Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is preferable.
