Overview
Join Glencore’s McArthur River Mine as a Water Cart Operator and advance your career in one of Australia’s leading zinc production operations located in the Gulf region of the Northern Territory. The mine has recently upgraded its equipment fleet in 2024 to sustain its future mining objectives. Role Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and proficient operation of heavy machinery.
- Capable of consistently working 12-hour day and night shifts within a FIFO (fly-in fly-out) 2/2 roster from Darwin.
- Physically fit and comfortable in a remote and demanding work environment.
- Experience operating water carts in mining or civil sectors; familiarity with 777 or 785D machinery is advantageous.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and an ability to work cooperatively in a team setting.
- Respectful attitude and eagerness to positively support MRM’s workplace culture.
- Possess a valid driver’s licence.
