Role Overview
The Virtual Assistant role is part-time and offers a hybrid work setting based in Danbury, CT, allowing for some remote work flexibility. This position provides essential support to school administrators and staff by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating communications with students, families, and external contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize email and telephone inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Maintain digital records and file organization, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare necessary documents and presentations for various school activities.
- Update basic information within school systems or platforms as required.
- Assist with data entry, generating simple reports, and providing logistical assistance for events and programs.
- Facilitate smooth daily operations through consistent and professional communication within the school community.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong skills in organization and time management, capable of prioritizing multiple assignments to meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in office software tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, and calendar management.
