Role Overview
We are looking for a full-time Technician to join our Vitamins Testing Team, located in our Auckland Laboratory. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside seasoned technicians and develop experience in the Southern Hemisphere's largest Food Testing Laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sample testing accurately and within the stipulated turnaround times.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory protocols and regulatory quality assurance procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date records related to testing activities at all times.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment.
- Promote and participate actively in workplace safety initiatives.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working additional days or overtime as required, including one weekend day since the laboratory operates every day of the week.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Chemistry, Food Science, or Medicinal Chemistry is essential.
- Prior experience with instrumentation such as GC, HPLC is advantageous.
- Ability to start contributing effectively immediately; candidates with direct Chemistry experience will benefit.
- Experience working in fast-paced and high-pressure environments is favorable.
- Strong team player who can maintain focus during repetitive tasks and adapt efficiently to changing priorities.
- Outstanding attention to detail paired with excellent time management skills to thrive within AsureQuality's environment.
