Senior Utilities Infrastructure Advisor

About the Role

This position is for a seasoned drainage professional who can act as a technical advisor across major drainage and wastewater networks. The role focuses on improving how large infrastructure systems are run, maintained, and optimised.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer expert technical support on drainage networks and wastewater infrastructure.
• Assess how systems are performing day to day and pinpoint areas where operations can be strengthened.
• Contribute to maintenance scheduling and the better use of assets.
• Make sure work aligns with engineering standards and environmental compliance requirements.
• Coach and support both engineering and operations staff with practical guidance.
• Draft technical assessments, reports, and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered status is desirable.
• Substantial hands-on experience in drainage or wastewater operations.
• Good knowledge of maintenance planning methods and network performance.
• Prior GCC experience is preferred.
