About the Role
This position is for a seasoned drainage professional who can act as a technical advisor across major drainage and wastewater networks. The role focuses on improving how large infrastructure systems are run, maintained, and optimised.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer expert technical support on drainage networks and wastewater infrastructure.
- Assess how systems are performing day to day and pinpoint areas where operations can be strengthened.
- Contribute to maintenance scheduling and the better use of assets.
- Make sure work aligns with engineering standards and environmental compliance requirements.
- Coach and support both engineering and operations staff with practical guidance.
- Draft technical assessments, reports, and actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Chartered status is desirable.
- Substantial hands-on experience in drainage or wastewater operations.
- Good knowledge of maintenance planning methods and network performance.
- Prior GCC experience is preferred.
