Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Senior Business / Data Analyst based in the United States, partnering with a healthcare organization. The role focuses on interpreting complex healthcare data to produce actionable insights that guide strategic decisions. You will operate at the crossroads of business needs, data scrutiny, and technology delivery within a large healthcare framework.

Key Responsibilities

Convert business needs into well-defined functional and technical specifications that support project aims.
Conduct sophisticated data analysis, profiling, and validation across clinical and administrative healthcare datasets.
Design source-to-target mappings and implement complex business rules supporting data transformation efforts.
Collaborate with business leaders, developers, architects, project managers, and quality assurance to implement effective solutions.
Identify and resolve issues relating to business processes, data integrity, reporting, workflows, and systems across varying teams.
Deliver presentations of data findings, recommendations, and design proposals to both technical and business audiences.
Serve as an intermediary between business stakeholders and technical groups to ensure clarity of requirements and deliverables.
Work with quality assurance teams to align testing approaches with business processes and system functionality.
Objectively assess solution alternatives, support discussions, and assist decision-making on complex issues.
Ensure deliverables provide measurable business value and meet intended objectives.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst within a large, complex US healthcare setting.
At least 5 years of hands-on data analysis and profiling in clinical and/or administrative healthcare data domains.
5+ years experience in source-to-target mapping and defining complex business rules.
Experience of 5 or more years participating in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) projects.
3+ years of communicating effectively with senior executives and key stakeholders.
Proficiency with relational databases and structured data environments for at least 5 years.
At least 3 years of advanced SQL query writing.
Experience handling large datasets, data warehouses, and big data projects for 3 or more years.
Strong knowledge of business intelligence, data warehousing, cloud solutions, and analytics technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving aptitude, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate productively with both business and technical teams in a remote work setting.
