Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with 3 to 5 years of professional experience who excels in managing client relationships and steering project delivery within the data and AI domain. This role merges client interaction, business growth, and leadership in project execution within a rapidly expanding consultancy specializing in data and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture enduring partnerships with clients by engaging key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Gain a thorough understanding of client objectives to identify opportunities where data and AI can generate significant value.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, ensuring outstanding service and support.
• Drive account expansion by offering insightful advisory and strategic collaboration.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of data, analytics, and AI projects from inception through to completion.
• Define clear project scope, schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting requirements.
• Guarantee delivery of projects within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage risks, handle dependencies, and address stakeholder expectations proactively.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Architects, Data Scientists, and Analysts.
• Facilitate workshops to translate business challenges into executable actionable solutions.
• Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to enhance project effectiveness.
• Continuously contribute to improving the value delivery methodology for clients.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in account management, project management, customer success, consulting, or other client-facing roles.
• Proven track record managing multifaceted projects with various stakeholders involved.
• Strong commercial insight coupled with excellent relationship-building capabilities.
• Interest and understanding of data, analytics, artificial intelligence, or technology consulting.
• Outstanding communication skills and adeptness at stakeholder management.
• Experience with agile delivery frameworks and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, or Trello.
• Demonstrated growth mindset, positivity, and enthusiasm for addressing client challenges.
• Commitment to ongoing skill development and personal growth.
• Based in Auckland and available for client meetings as needed.
