Role Overview

As a Project Manager within our Core Retail Platform (CRP) Programme, you will spearhead the delivery of a critical business and technology transformation. Collaborating closely with the Programme Manager and multiple stakeholders, you will oversee project execution, manage risks, and uphold governance standards. This role is central to coordinating efforts and ensuring the successful rollout of our new platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive implementation of the Core Retail Platform project.
• Collaborate with the Programme Manager and project teams to devise and implement work plans, securing necessary resources.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and risks, devising mitigation strategies.
• Prepare documentation and reports on key milestones, promptly communicating any delivery timeline deviations to leadership.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure contract adherence and fulfillment of transformation goals as per the work plan.
• Ensure compliance with project governance, including issue tracking and change management protocols.
• Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders at all organizational levels to foster alignment and support change initiatives.
• Analyze project progress, adjust plans accordingly, and report risks.
• Keep project documentation, plans, and reports thorough and current.
• Regularly update the Programme Manager on milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Minimum six years’ experience managing large-scale technology transformation projects.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence is required.
• Strong experience delivering reports to senior leadership.
• Excellent administrative and detail-oriented skills.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience in Retail Operations including front office, back office, and workforce planning.
• Competence in scheduling and the use of Atlassian project management tools and related plugins.
• Experience in change management; familiarity with the Energy sector is advantageous.
