Plant Manager

About the Role

The organization is looking for a seasoned Plant Manager to take charge of daily operations at its ready-mix concrete facility in Riyadh. This position focuses on running the plant safely, efficiently, and economically while protecting product quality, supporting customer needs, and keeping overall operations running at a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct every aspect of plant activity, including production, dispatch planning, upkeep, and quality assurance.
• Maintain steady output of ready-mix concrete that aligns with company standards and industry expectations.
• Guide and manage plant staff while encouraging safe working habits, responsibility, and ongoing improvement.
• Track production output, plant efficiency, and key operating indicators to support performance goals.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment and machinery.
• Control raw material stock levels and work with procurement to avoid interruptions in operations.
• Ensure adherence to HSE rules, internal policies, and environmental obligations.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams so customer requirements and delivery timelines are met.
• Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance reviews for senior leadership.
• Recommend and implement improvements that raise productivity and lower operating expenses.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 15 years of experience in ready-mix concrete operations, including a minimum of 7 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong understanding of concrete production, batching systems, quality control standards, and plant maintenance practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage people effectively.
• Solid knowledge of workplace safety regulations and operational best practices.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, planning, and organizing work.
• Comfort using ERP platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
• English fluency is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
