Role Overview
This position involves comprehensive management of payroll operations, accounting processes, governance standards, financial controls, and adherence to statutory regulations for the company's global workforce spanning MENA, Africa, Europe, APAC, and the Americas. The role ensures precise and compliant payroll execution whether handled internally or via local country partners, supported by meticulous bank reconciliations, general ledger accuracy, and audit-ready documentation.
Key Duties
- Supervise complete payroll cycles across various regions, either processed internally or through local payroll providers.
- Guarantee prompt submission of statutory filings, manage tax deductions, and handle social contribution payments compliant with local laws in every operational region.
- Oversee payroll-related accounting, including creating and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and provisions; ensure that payroll costs are correctly allocated and that subledger balances align precisely with the general ledger.
- Coordinate with banking and treasury functions to manage payroll fund transfers and disbursements effectively.
