Package Handler / Non-Driver - Warehouse Operations

Job Overview

This role focuses on handling freight within a warehouse environment, including loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting packages efficiently and safely. Candidates will be part of a dynamic team contributing to the smooth operation of FedEx Canada's facility in Delta, British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight shipments within the warehouse premises.
• Perform scanning and sorting of freight to ensure accurate processing and shipping.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs procedures is advantageous.
• Good interpersonal communication and team collaboration skills.
• Capability to complete all required initial and ongoing training successfully.
• Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment.

Additional Information

• Grade Level: 79.
• Compensation: $21 per hour.
• The position entails working in varying shifts according to business needs.
• Must be proficient in operating a PC within a Windows environment.
• Candidates residing in Quebec must be bilingual in French and English.
• While driving is not a core responsibility for this non-driver role, candidates for driving-required roles must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
