Line Manager - Roscommon

About the Role

As part of this commitment, we are looking for a Line Manager based in Roscommon to lead a department and its team towards delivering outstanding service, maintaining high standards, and ensuring product availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor your team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure optimal shopping experiences.
• Achieve all key performance indicators for your department.
• Make daily decisions to support and empower your team in their roles.
• Implement and oversee the training plan to ensure all colleagues are properly trained, validated, and hold current training certifications.
• Ensure all operational processes, routines, and systems are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Plan and execute seasonal, promotional, and trade activities to maximize sales impact and visual presentation.
• Maintain all safety and legal compliance within your department by developing plans to resolve any issues.
• Facilitate colleague understanding of objectives through clear communication, regular reviews, career discussions, and maintaining a Personal Development Plan (PDP).
• Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to enhance team skills and confidence.
• Create a supportive environment that encourages innovation and personal growth among colleagues.
• Uphold a culture where customers enjoy shopping and colleagues feel motivated to work.
• Ensure all products are handled carefully to preserve quality and present the best possible conditions to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the shop floor and back areas at all times.
• Support other departments when required to ensure smooth operations across the store.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and health and safety standards.

• Proven experience in a management role within retail is essential.
