Role Summary
We invite applications for a Health Lawyer position at any experience level within the Brisbane office. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, providing counsel to medical defence organizations, health insurers, private hospitals, healthcare institutions, and individual practitioners on a variety of complex legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling complex medical negligence and civil litigation cases.
- Advising on coronial inquests.
- Managing complaints and investigations with AHPRA and OHO.
- Representing in QCAT disciplinary proceedings.
- Participating in statutory inquiries, clinical reviews, and Commissions of Inquiry.

Candidate Profile
- Experience in health law, medical indemnity, defendant insurance, and/or regulatory legal matters.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- Proven capability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, insurers, and healthcare practitioners.
- A cooperative and unpretentious demeanor.
- Lawyers with relevant litigation experience and an earnest interest in specialising in health law are also encouraged to apply.
