Trust Lawyer - Russian Speaker with Over 8 Years Legal Expertise

About the Role

Our Dubai-based office seeks a seasoned Trust Lawyer proficient in Russian to provide comprehensive legal support in trust structuring, drafting, regulatory compliance, and fiduciary and private client services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, and update Trust Deeds, agreements, and related legal documents.
• Create and maintain legal templates and precedents within the Trust Division.
• Offer expert legal counsel on trust arrangements, fiduciary duties, and trust product matters.
• Oversee AML/CFT compliance including Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, and goAML reporting.
• Conduct compliance audits, risk evaluations, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparing trust accounts, compliance files, and regulatory manuals.
• Provide legal training and guidance internally regarding trust law and compliance responsibilities.
• Contribute to the development of new trust products while monitoring legal and regulatory updates.

Candidate Requirements

• Residence: Currently residing in the UAE with valid UAE residency status.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience: At least 8 years of relevant legal experience in trust law, fiduciary and private client services, corporate law, or financial regulation.
• Compliance Expertise: Strong familiarity with UAE AML/CFT regulations and Free Zone compliance frameworks.
• Additional Skills: Knowledge of CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, and goAML reporting is preferred.
• Language: Proficiency in Russian is mandatory.
• Availability: Immediate start is advantageous.

Working Hours and Benefits

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
