About the Role
This position is based at NVIDIA's Munich/Wuerselen (Germany) or Reading (UK) office as a member of the Global Payroll team reporting to the Head of International Payroll in the UK. You will collaborate closely with Finance and HR departments to manage payroll compliance across EMEA, contribute to payroll system implementation, and drive process improvements for NVIDIA’s EMEA payroll regions. The role requires handling sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and ethical standards, along with advocating for strong controls and policies within Payroll and HR functions.
Key Duties
- Assist in managing a portfolio of 23 European payrolls as part of the Global Payroll team.
- Lead the implementation of the Global Payroll System.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely payroll processing, including all remittances, filings with tax authorities, and employee payments.
- Handle pension and health insurance registrations and documentation for employees.
- Conduct payroll orientation sessions for international new hires and transfers.
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records and files.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and payroll service providers.
- Work with HR, external payroll providers, and banking partners to meet payroll department objectives.
- Coordinate payroll data validation and ensure timely bank payments.
- Partner with Finance teams in India to prepare and post month-end journals, conduct reporting, and perform payroll accounting reconciliations.
- Provide daily support and guidance on payroll inquiries to employees.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certification in Payroll is mandatory.
- Proven knowledge of pensions and employee benefits.
- Background in finance is a plus.
- At least 8 years of significant experience in global payroll, encompassing international payroll taxes and stock-based compensation.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
- Adaptability to changing work environments, priorities, and deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required.
