This position is part of Quest's Identity & Security (IS) division, pivotal to driving pipeline development, accelerating opportunities, and contributing revenue across enterprise sectors.
We seek motivated BDRs with strong commercial drive to join our expanding EMEA IS team in Cork, focused on supporting our Data and Security offerings in strategic enterprise accounts across EMEA.
Unlike conventional BDR roles, this position emphasizes intelligent, insight-focused prospecting powered by AI, data analytics, and buyer intent, forging a team of sophisticated hunters who blend outbound expertise with data fluency and business savvy. You will crucially support enterprise pipeline generation, collaborating tightly with Account Executives and Sales leadership to deliver tangible business outcomes.
Location: Cork, Ireland (Hybrid model with in-office presence Tuesday to Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday)
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality sales pipeline for Strategic Sales across major enterprise clients like HSBC, Shell, and Mars
- Manage and swiftly qualify inbound leads, constituting approximately 60% of activities
- Conduct targeted outbound outreach (around 40%) using diverse channels such as calls, emails, LinkedIn, videos, and events
- Develop consultative and value-driven dialogues with senior stakeholders spanning IT, Data, Security, and business functions
- Identify client challenges and align them with Quest’s Trusted Data, AI, and Cybersecurity products
- Utilize intent data, triggering events, and buyer signals to prioritize accounts and customize communication
- Arrange qualified discovery meetings for Sales and Pre-Sales teams
- Ensure stringent lead qualification and smooth opportunity handover following the MEDDIC methodology
- Maintain disciplined CRM usage, pipeline cleanliness, and comprehensive activity records
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and IS leadership
- Continuously improve messaging based on market insights, call feedback, and conversion analytics
Candidate Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Minimum one year experience in outbound B2B sales or a related role
- Excellent communication skills including persuasive commercial storytelling
- A resilient hunter mindset with proactive approach and determination
- Strong data-oriented thinking enabling interpretation of signals and effective prioritization
- Highly coachable and dedicated to ongoing personal development
- Interest in technology trends, data, cybersecurity, and AI innovations

Compensation and Equal Opportunity Statement
In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, annual pay for this role will start at EUR 36,626, with actual compensation based on candidate experience, credentials, and performance. Eligible individuals may also participate in formal commission or bonus schemes. Benefits vary by country.
