Position Overview
We are searching for a motivated and people-centric Branch Manager to spearhead our branch operations and boost performance throughout your designated region. You will be responsible for the branch's financial outcomes, cultivating customer relationships, and nurturing a positive team atmosphere by establishing a clear strategic vision and leading by example to hit targets related to revenue, profit, and cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial results by managing your branch's budget and formulating a comprehensive business plan that offers clear guidance to your team.
- Expand the customer base by assessing the potential within your territory, conducting systematic outreach, and pinpointing opportunities to optimize sales and revenue.
- Lead and develop your team by recruiting, coaching, and mentoring branch employees while exemplifying high standards yourself.
- Manage accurate customer relationship management (CRM) systems and branch reporting to ensure up-to-date data.
- Become highly knowledgeable about our product offerings to effectively assist both customers and staff.
- Promote health and safety by maintaining a secure work environment, proactively managing risks, and fostering a robust safety culture.
- Ensure branch presentation, customer service quality, and operational processes align with company standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams within a customer service setting, with proven success in mentoring staff to achieve superior performance.
- Strong results orientation coupled with accountability and proactive execution skills.
- Good commercial understanding to grasp business drivers and effectively discuss business matters.
- Exceptional customer service capabilities and aptitude for building lasting client relationships.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially concerning orders, reporting accuracy, and overall branch performance.
- Ability to perform calmly and efficiently under pressure while managing diverse tasks.
- Proficient computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and ERP platforms; experience with M3 is advantageous.
- Possession of a valid Class 1 driver’s licence with F endorsement.
- Physically fit enough to safely handle products weighing up to 20 kilograms.
