Aircraft Technician - Line Maintenance Support

About the Role

Join Emirates Engineering, a premier aircraft maintenance facility based in Dubai, approved by GCAA CAR V, supporting a large fleet including Airbus and Boeing aircraft, as well as contracted third-party airlines. As an Aircraft Technician in Line Maintenance Support, you will perform maintenance tasks on aircraft components following company guidelines and regulations. Working closely with Licensed Aircraft Engineers within your trained disciplines, you will contribute to ensuring aircraft safety and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and approved structural repairs on aircraft, engines, and components, strictly adhering to manufacturer procedures and safety protocols during fluid replenishment, refuelling, and system charging.
• Conduct component replacements and other maintenance tasks as assigned by your supervisor, utilizing the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), or equivalent documentation.
• Support Licensed Aircraft Engineers with troubleshooting, defect corrections, modifications, and execution of job card instructions.
• Promote and engage in safety culture initiatives to reduce accidents, report any hazardous conditions, and ensure workspace cleanliness and tool management to prevent foreign object debris (FOD).
• Maintain compliance with airport safety regulations, including possession of and adherence to Airport Driving Permit requirements, and operate safely within airport manoeuvring areas.
• Collaborate with supervisors on performance evaluations and development plans via the MyBC system for continuous learning and training.
• Ensure timely completion of allocated tasks to maximize aircraft ground time and avoid operational delays; communicate defects effectively for smooth shift handovers.
• Assist with resource allocation through RMS/RTC systems, applying your maintenance expertise as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ engineering experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Completion of 12+2 education level (high school graduate).
• Completed apprenticeship or equivalent training in Aircraft Maintenance from a reputable airline or certified maintenance organization, or hold an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License.
