Overview

Pet Well Veterinary Clinic, located in Abu Dhabi, is a modern facility specializing in the medical and surgical care of companion animals, particularly dogs and cats. The clinic offers services ranging from preventive care and internal medicine to advanced diagnostic imaging and surgical procedures. We welcome applications from qualified veterinarians within the UAE and from overseas candidates interested in relocating.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose, and treat illnesses in dogs and cats.
• Administer vaccinations and implement parasite control and other preventive health measures.
• Analyze laboratory results and diagnostic imaging such as digital X-rays and ultrasound.
• Perform routine and complex soft-tissue surgeries, dental treatments, and emergency interventions.
• Develop and manage treatment plans, ensure patient follow-ups, and maintain detailed medical records.
• Provide compassionate communication to pet owners regarding their animal's health.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and support personnel to ensure quality care.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Veterinary degree (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Eligibility to obtain a veterinary license to practice in the UAE.
• Significant experience in small-animal medicine and surgical procedures.
• Proficiency in conducting laboratory diagnostics and interpreting digital X-rays and ultrasound scans.
• Expertise in dentistry, soft-tissue surgeries, emergency care, and trauma management.
• Strong English communication skills and excellent client service capabilities.
• Dedication to animal welfare, ethical veterinary practice, and ongoing professional learning.
• Knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is considered advantageous.

Additional Information

• Position is full-time and based on-site at Pet Well Veterinary Clinic, Al Dana Tower A, Abu Dhabi.
