About the Role

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled professional to join Marsh's Employee Benefits team in a hybrid capacity based in either Auckland or Wellington. The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office.

As a Senior Client Executive, you will serve as the primary people risk advisor dedicated to our International Student client base. Your responsibilities cover comprehensive account management, from fostering client relationships and providing expert advice to supporting claims advocacy. You will specialize in the international student insurance domain and collaborate closely with business development, placement, underwriting, and claims teams to cultivate and maintain major accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on people risk issues within the International Student insurance portfolio, establishing and nurturing strong client and sector relationships.
  • Provide end-to-end client management encompassing relationship development, delivering exemplary customer service, offering advisory support, processing renewals, and advocating on claims specific to student clients.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within your portfolio in partnership with the business development team, consistently achieving client retention and revenue goals.
  • Conduct training sessions for large groups during client onboarding events as needed.
  • Manage complex claims effectively by negotiating fair settlements and mediating between clients and insurers.
  • Oversee administrative and technical processes such as policy implementation, capturing enrolment data, managing annual pricing renewals, maintaining insurance manuals, system records, and generating reports, all while ensuring compliance with company policies and professional error and omission standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in travel or medical insurance, education, medicine, or employee benefits related to life and health insurance products, with strong product knowledge and a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage competing priorities collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to completing all mandated online training modules for Marsh and its subsidiaries, adhering to professional standards and compliance protocols.
