About the role
Ampol is seeking a Retail Team Member for its Penong site in South Australia. In this role, you will help create a fast, welcoming, and efficient customer experience at one of Australia’s major convenience retail networks.
You will contribute to store presentation, stock handling, stock control, and point-of-sale operations while helping ensure every shift is completed accurately and safely.
What you’ll do
- Provide friendly, high-quality service and aim to go beyond customer expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.
- Work closely with teammates to keep operations smooth and consistent.
- Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and detail in all tasks.
- Be available for a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and overnight shifts when required.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to use a POS system and manage cash handling accurately.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Willingness to work across a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.
