About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join an exciting international pet essentials brand. This role involves overseeing and expanding the brand's presence on Instagram and Facebook, specifically catering to a Shopify-based store targeting the United States. The main objective is to produce engaging, genuine, and premium content that connects with pet owners while maintaining a consistent and compelling visual identity across all social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive content calendar featuring posts, reels, stories, and captions for Instagram and Facebook.
- Create engaging and brand-aligned graphics, photos, and short videos tailored to pet enthusiasts.
- Craft captivating captions and copy that align with the brand's tone and core values.
- Stay abreast of current social media trends, adjusting strategies to enhance visibility and interaction.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages to build an active community.
- Analyze and report on important performance indicators to guide future content planning.
Qualifications
- Proven background in managing social media accounts, preferably for ecommerce or consumer brand sectors.
- Strong content development capabilities encompassing photography, video editing, and graphic design.
