Job Overview
The Front Desk Executive is responsible for greeting guests warmly and professionally while managing all aspects of front office operations. This role includes handling check-ins and check-outs smoothly, addressing guest inquiries across multiple channels, managing bookings, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction in cooperation with related departments.
Primary Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle incoming phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and online booking requests promptly.
- Manage room bookings and maintain up-to-date room availability status.
- Verify identification documents and complete necessary registration formalities accurately.
- Process payments via cash, card, or online methods with precision.
- Address guest complaints courteously and strive to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, restaurant, and maintenance teams for seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain daily logs including guest records, billing information, and reports.
- Promote hotel services and special offers to encourage repeat business.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and professional at all times.
- Adhere to hotel standard operating procedures, grooming guidelines, and confidentiality rules.
Candidate Profile
- Fluent communication skills in Hindi and basic proficiency in English.
- A pleasant demeanor with professional personal grooming standards.
- Familiarity with computer applications including MS Office and property management systems (PMS).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Positive attitude coupled with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Capability to work flexible rotational shifts.
- High levels of honesty, punctuality, and responsibility.
- Team-oriented with good coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to function efficiently under pressure.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
