Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate)

Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor based in Dublin to join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy handling multiple projects across Ireland, mainly focused on Civil Engineering. Ideal candidates will have solid experience in civil construction and public works projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
• Handle variation orders and claims as necessary.
• Manage procurement of contractors and subcontractors.
• Quantify and value completed work on each project site.
• Compile detailed progress reports regularly.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and other construction professionals including site managers, project managers, and engineers.

Job Requirements

• Possess a relevant quantity surveying degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and techniques.
• Experience working with Public Works Contracts.
• Familiarity with current contractual forms and TII MoM standards.
