Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor based in Dublin to join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy handling multiple projects across Ireland, mainly focused on Civil Engineering. Ideal candidates will have solid experience in civil construction and public works projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Handle variation orders and claims as necessary.
- Manage procurement of contractors and subcontractors.
- Quantify and value completed work on each project site.
- Compile detailed progress reports regularly.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients and other construction professionals including site managers, project managers, and engineers.
Job Requirements
- Possess a relevant quantity surveying degree.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and techniques.
- Experience working with Public Works Contracts.
- Familiarity with current contractual forms and TII MoM standards.
