Role Overview

As a Quality Engineer, you will develop a quality assurance strategy covering multiple technology stacks including .NET, PHP, and Node.js with TypeScript. Your role involves creating and integrating automated testing layers—API and end-to-end—into continuous delivery pipelines, leveraging AI and agentic tools to ensure scalable coverage without proportional headcount increases.

You will establish and enforce quality gates, ensuring that no development ticket progresses or ships to production without comprehensive testing evidence in environments reflecting actual production configurations. Further, you'll safeguard product integrity through legacy system modernization initiatives, enabling aggressive platform upgrades without compromising customer experience.

This position requires embedding quality practices within each development team’s cycle, collaborating closely with engineering leads and product owners to make quality an indispensable part of the delivery process rather than an afterthought.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish a cross-platform quality strategy inclusive of .NET, PHP, and Node/TypeScript environments.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks integrated with delivery pipelines.
• Define and uphold quality standards and test completion policies for all development work.
• Manage regression protection during technology modernization and platform re-platforming efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to integrate quality as a core development discipline.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has in-depth experience in software quality assurance with strong expertise in automation test architecture and execution across diverse technology stacks. They have successfully built or overhauled quality functions spanning multiple products and stacks, creating standards embraced by engineering teams.

Proficiency in designing automated quality solutions that generalize across different technology platforms (.NET, PHP, Node/TypeScript) is essential. The candidate is adept with AI and agentic tools to amplify testing capabilities within lean teams and has experience protecting products through major migrations or rewrites while preserving customer trust.

An understanding of multi-region SaaS uptime requirements and SLAs is important. Although experience in government, healthcare, or compliance domains is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
