Job Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role is vital for maintaining immaculate shared spaces, paying close attention to details, and ensuring an outstanding environment for both guests and staff. The position offers opportunities to work independently and collaboratively, with guest interaction a valued element.

Key Duties

• Maintain the property's aesthetic appeal, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring it always appears pristine.
• Perform thorough cleaning duties across public areas including the pool, gym, and communal restrooms, adhering to high cleanliness and visual presentation standards.
• Operate specialized cleaning machinery and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Assist guests with inquiries and security concerns, coordinating with multiple departments to complete tasks efficiently.
• Monitor and report maintenance needs, equipment damages, and lost items to the appropriate teams promptly.

Experience and Skills Required

• Previous work experience in similar roles such as cleaning, room attendant, or public area maintenance is advantageous.
• Possess warm and friendly communication skills that help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail combined with effective time management and pride in delivering quality work.
• Ability to adapt and physical capability to work in varied internal and external settings, including stairs and open-air spaces.
