Key Responsibilities

  • Own the engineering and commercial progress of projects from tender stage through final delivery.
  • Support the development of construction methods and work schedules that improve productivity.
  • Track project performance, including cost monitoring and related controls.
  • Work with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
  • Handle contracts and project records, including the timely preparation and processing of variations and progress claims.
  • Spot commercial risks and opportunities early and recommend practical actions to strengthen project outcomes and profitability.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders through clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Promote strong standards in safety, quality, and environmental performance in line with company expectations and industry best practice.
  • Guide and support graduate engineers and site engineers to help develop a high-performing project team.
