Role Summary

You will help drive projects successfully from early planning stages through to completion. Working alongside site teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will contribute to keeping work on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality expectations. The position blends engineering, commercial thinking, and team leadership, with exposure across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the engineering and commercial progress of projects from tender stage through final delivery.
• Support the development of construction methods and work schedules that improve productivity.
• Track project performance, including cost monitoring and related controls.
• Work with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
• Handle contracts and project records, including the timely preparation and processing of variations and progress claims.
• Spot commercial risks and opportunities early and recommend practical actions to strengthen project outcomes and profitability.
• Build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders through clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.
• Promote strong standards in safety, quality, and environmental performance in line with company expectations and industry best practice.
• Guide and support graduate engineers and site engineers to help develop a high-performing project team.
