Head of Operations

Position Summary

The role of Head of Operations based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia involves leading and managing extensive manufacturing processes particularly in precision machining and industrial fabrication within an API-certified environment, with a strong emphasis on the Oil & Gas upstream sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations including CNC machining with facilities operating upwards of 20 machines.
• Manage welding, fabrication, assembly, repair, and remanufacturing activities.
• Lead large teams comprising over 100 personnel ensuring operational efficiency and productivity.
• Drive production planning, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, procurement, supply chain, and inventory management.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices such as TPM, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Participate in greenfield plant establishment or execute major capacity expansion projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 18 years’ experience in manufacturing operations involving precision machining, fabrication, welding.
• Mandatory background working within API-certified manufacturing environments.
• Strong preference for experience in upstream Oil & Gas manufacturing or remanufacturing sectors.
• Familiarity with GCC and Saudi Arabia’s manufacturing industry is advantageous.
