About the Role
The Print Finisher will oversee the concluding stages of the printing process, ensuring that products are precisely completed, carefully inspected, and appropriately prepared for customer delivery. This role demands operation of finishing machinery, quality monitoring, adhering to production guidelines, and meeting deadlines in a busy print environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate finishing machinery such as guillotines, laminators, folders, and binding equipment
- Cut, trim, fold, laminate, and package printed materials
- Conduct quality inspections to verify products meet customer standards
- Interpret and follow production tickets and instructions
- Manage workload priorities to achieve production targets
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and resolve minor issues
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in the workspace
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain effective workflow
Qualifications and Skills
- Training related to print production or manufacturing is an advantage
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or print finishing environment highly desirable
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in production settings preferred
- Strong keen eye for detail and comprehensive quality control skills
- Able to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good manual dexterity and practical abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
