Job description
Opportunity Overview
Join a dynamic and fast-moving team at the Hazelmere Distribution Centre, where you'll be instrumental in ensuring beverage products are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched to customers efficiently and safely. This full-time permanent role operates on a morning shift schedule from 5:00am to 1:00pm, allowing you to enjoy your afternoons with a rotating weekend work roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders with accuracy.
- Safely operate warehouse machinery and technology, including forklifts if licensed.
- Participate in inventory management and stock control activities.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving pallets throughout the distribution centre.
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet both operational and customer service objectives.
- Promote and uphold safety standards and adhere strictly to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Enjoy working in an active, hands-on role within a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to task accuracy and completion.
- Experience or a keen interest in warehousing, logistics, or FMCG sectors.
- Dependable, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
- Strong dedication to safety practices and understanding of CoR requirements.
- Effective communicator with a positive, proactive attitude.
