Position Overview

This full-time, permanent role offers a flexible work arrangement allowing administrative duties to be completed remotely between service hours. Support is provided through a dedicated Mentor and Regional Manager to ensure success in this leadership position based in Kanwal, NSW, within a well-established service environment.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday split shifts: 6:30am - 9:00am, 2:00pm - 6:00pm
• Additional 5.5 hours allocated for administrative work that can be scheduled flexibly, including working from home

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to deliver a safe, enjoyable, and compliant program for children
• Create and implement engaging activities designed for primary school-aged children
• Supervise children during service hours and maintain strong connections with the school and local community
• Oversee all aspects of the childcare service ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a passion for educating and supporting children
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining enthusiasm and a fun attitude
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, staff, and school leaders
• Strong problem-solving capability coupled with a proactive, positive approach
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to creating enriching experiences for children
• Commitment to child safety, including completion of mandatory National Child Safety Training prior to employment
• Relevant Diploma qualification in early childhood education or equivalent, or actively working towards this as per ACECQA standards
