Data Analyst - Investment Banking

Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Investment Banking Reporting team in Manhattan, NY. This role involves supporting data migration and reconciliation efforts as part of a three-month rolling contract, requiring presence on-site three days each week.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate migration from older reporting systems to up-to-date platforms.
• Conduct thorough data reconciliation to maintain accuracy and integrity.
• Assist with development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools.
• Lead automation projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and streamlining processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of data.
• Experience in business intelligence reporting and analytics using tools such as Power BI and Cognos.
• Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques.
• Hands-on involvement in data migration and reconciliation exercises.
• Exposure to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive work ethic.
• Prior experience in Investment Banking or Financial Services preferred.

• Rate: $60 per hour
• Contract Type: 3-month rolling contract
• Work Location: Manhattan, NY - onsite requirement for three days weekly
