Role Overview

The company is inviting applications for a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the Executive Leadership Team. This role transcends traditional CFO duties centered on reporting and compliance; it demands a commercially focused leader to shape strategy, collaborate tightly with the CEO, and drive the scaling of the finance function in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and steer long-term business strategy globally.
• Provide commercial insights to support business decisions across all international markets.
• Lead the global financial strategy, ensuring profitable growth alongside financial discipline.
• Oversee financial reporting, governance, compliance, audits, and maintain robust controls supporting multi-jurisdiction operations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, KPI development, and operational performance analytics.
• Supervise treasury, cash flow management, capital allocation, and banking relationships globally.
• Direct financial due diligence, acquisitions, investments, and integration of acquired entities aligned with growth objectives.
• Drive transformation of financial systems through automation, AI adoption, and building scalable infrastructures to support international expansion.
• Recruit, build, and develop a high-caliber global finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and ongoing improvement.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven senior finance leadership roles such as CFO, Deputy CFO, Finance Director or Group Financial Controller in high-growth international businesses.
• Industry experience preferred in technology, SaaS, hospitality technology, fintech, digital marketplaces or similar sectors.
• Extensive global finance function management across multiple countries and entities ensuring compliance with standards like US GAAP, IFRS, and multi-entity taxation regulations.
• Strong background in financial planning, governance, commercial partnering, and international expansion or acquisitions.
• Comfortable operating within founder-led and entrepreneurial companies requiring agility and rapid decision-making.

• Salary range of €150,000 to €250,000 per annum.
