CCTV Technician

Overview

Rudra IT Solutions is seeking a proficient CCTV Technician based in Odisha to handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance and related security systems. This role involves extensive on-site work, technical problem-solving, and customer interaction across multiple locations within Odisha.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and configure both IP and Analog CCTV cameras, including NVRs, DVRs, and accessories.
• Conduct site surveys to recommend the most appropriate surveillance systems.
• Install and terminate CAT6 and fiber optic cables, install conduits, and assemble network racks.
• Manage configuration of IP cameras, DVR/NVR setups, remote monitoring, and related mobile applications.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to CCTV systems, networking, and power supplies.
• Install biometric attendance and access control devices.
• Set up Wi-Fi access points, routers, switches, and other basic networking equipment.
• Commission and test completed projects before handing over to clients.
• Perform preventive and annual maintenance contract visits, while maintaining detailed service and installation reports.
• Coordinate with sales and support teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Adhere to company quality and safety protocols at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Understanding of IP and Analog CCTV systems.
• Experience working with brands like Hikvision, Dahua, TP-Link VIGI, CP Plus, Honeywell, or equivalent.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and device configuration.
• Proficient in cable crimping, laying, and network testing.
• Capable of configuring and remotely accessing NVR/DVR systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with independent problem resolution ability.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Odisha.
• Educational qualifications include ITI, Diploma, or B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related domains.
• CCTV or Networking certifications are considered a plus.

Experience and Other Requirements

• Open to freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary range between 15,000 and 30,000 INR, based on company standards and experience.
