About the Role

We are looking for career changers to work as Construction Site Safety Specialists with DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH at various locations in Schleswig-Holstein including Ascheberg, Ahrensburg, Altenholz, and more.
Retraining Program
- You will acquire the necessary skills over roughly one year with a balanced mix of theory and hands-on practice.
- Experienced colleagues will guide you for a smooth transition even if this is a completely new career path for you.
- Theoretical sessions take place close to your residence; practical deployments happen mostly in your future work area.
- You receive a guaranteed salary from the start.
Key Responsibilities After Training
- Ensure safety for everyone at track construction sites as part of a team.
- Warn workers in track areas using various signals and modern warning systems about approaching trains.
- Implement safety regulations and instruct new safety personnel.
- Maintain communication with diverse contacts to ensure smooth operations.
- Organize and supervise safety measures on construction sites independently.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum age of 18 with a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss).
- No prior experience required; reliability and commitment to safety are essential.
- Enthusiastic about working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proficient German communication skills in speaking and writing.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and at varying locations.
- Possession of a Class B driver's license and own vehicle is desirable but not mandatory.
Additional Information
Applicants already qualified as Construction Site Safety Specialists, Safety Posts, or Supervisors are also welcomed.
