Overview
We offer career changers a unique opportunity to become trained Construction Site Safety Specialists within the DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH team, working primarily outdoors along the railway network. Whether you are returning from parental leave or seeking a new professional path, you will receive an attractive salary during approximately one year of training. Following successful induction, you will independently handle responsibilities and become an integral part of a stable, supportive team.
Training Program Details
- Comprehensive step-by-step professional training over roughly one year combines theory and practical experience.

- Theoretical classes are conducted locally whenever possible, and practical assignments occur mostly within your designated future work area.

Job Responsibilities Post-Training
- Collaboratively ensure safety at rail construction sites to prevent accidents.
- Warn personnel on or near tracks about approaching trains using various signals and modern warning systems.
- Implement safety regulations and brief new safety staff regularly.
- Maintain communication with diverse stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Independently organize and supervise safety measures on construction sites.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 18 years old with a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss).
- No previous experience required, but reliability and a commitment to safety are essential.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proficient written and spoken German communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, as well as travel to various locations.
- Possession of a Class B driving license and personal vehicle is advantageous but not mandatory.
