About the Role
Hedin Automotive Mercedes-Benz in Dartford is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Advisor to join their team. This crucial position is dedicated to offering outstanding customer service and supporting the service department in surpassing customer expectations.
Key Duties
- Provide excellent customer support by identifying customer needs and expectations.
- Efficiently coordinate service appointments and vehicle check-in processes.
- Communicate with technicians and service teams to relay accurate repair timeframes and details to customers.
- Respond to customer queries and offer knowledgeable advice on service and repair options.
- Ensure meticulous documentation and maintain comprehensive customer records.
- Comply with Mercedes-Benz service standards to uphold brand quality.
- Recommend and sell additional repairs as appropriate.
Candidate Profile
- Experience as a service advisor in a dynamic, high-volume automotive environment.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills to enhance customer experience.
- Familiarity with CRM and service management software.
- Commitment to delivering superior customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and possession of a full UK manual driving license.
Working Conditions
- Based at Mercedes-Benz and smart, Dartford, DA1 5FD.
- Work schedule of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with regular Saturday shifts on a rotating basis offering time off in lieu.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting annual salary of £34,000 with on-target earnings of £41,000.
- Salary increase following completion of C-Service Training.
