Architect CAD & Construction Documentation - Remote

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architect specializing in CAD and construction documentation to join our team remotely. This contract role involves producing detailed architectural and engineering drawings aligned with project needs, ensuring precise documentation, and collaborating effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans and elevations tailored to project specifications.
• Create comprehensive CAD drawings for both architectural structures and engineering applications.
• Accurately prepare Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts critical for manufacturing documentation.
• Generate multi-sheet electrical schematics adhering to recognized industry standards with precise annotations.
• Design and assess printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, incorporating best practices to optimize manufacturability and functionality.
• Engage collaboratively to clarify project requirements and address technical queries through effective communication.
• Deliver complete and well-organized documentation packages aligned with project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three years of recent experience focused on architectural CAD and construction document production.
• Skilled in utilizing leading 2D/3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools.
• Strong expertise in creating and interpreting GD&T callouts and intricate schematic diagrams.
• Demonstrated ability to develop multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrate PCB layouts in building-related projects.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities to manage extensive document sets.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience collaborating remotely within cross-functional teams is highly advantageous.
