Role Overview
As an AI Content Intern, you will be immersed in cutting-edge generative AI technologies, collaborating across R&D, Creative Services, and Product teams to develop and deploy AI-powered content for Firework's platform. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence content creation at an early stage in AI evolution, with career growth potential including transition to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&D, Creative Services, and Product teams to pilot and utilize latest AI content-generation methods within Firework's video commerce platform.
- Create and refine content using proprietary AI tools, iterating rapidly and communicating insights.
- Assist in launching AI-powered features by preparing creative materials and workflows with various departments.
- Help convert R&D prototypes into production-ready creative processes, identifying issues and gathering feedback.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across teams during rollout of new AI capabilities.
- Maintain thorough documentation of workflows, learnings, and best practices as AI creative tools evolve.
Candidate Requirements
- Current senior undergraduate student or recent graduate in relevant disciplines such as computer science, design, media, or marketing.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin and English to facilitate collaboration with international teams.
- Strong interest and curiosity in generative AI's impact on content creation, with hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools.
- Practical background in content creation (video, design, or copy) gained through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively partner with engineering, creative, and go-to-market teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities driven by AI innovations.
Work Location and Compensation
This position is based in Firework's San Mateo office with a hybrid working model. The hourly pay ranges from $19 to $25, with alternatives including work-study credit options. Eligible candidates may receive stock options and visa sponsorship. Exceptional performers have a pathway to full-time employment.
